MyFundedFutures vs Boxcar Trading: $50K rules and payout buffers

MyFundedFutures rules depend on the plan: Rapid Intraday changes drawdown timing after evaluation, Rapid EOD keeps end-of-day trailing, and Builder adds payout consistency. BoxcarFlex keeps EOD drawdown but requires five qualifying profit days. Published by Boxcar Trading from official rules checked October 22, 2026.

Identify the plan before comparing rules

A $50K MyFundedFutures account can mean Rapid Intraday, Rapid EOD, Builder or Pro. Those labels change the evaluation, loss limit and payout conditions. This comparison uses those $50K programs and $50K BoxcarFlex; MyFundedFutures also lists separate Studio and legacy programs.

Evaluation profits do not carry a payout entitlement. Passing leads to a simulated-funded stage; live trading is a later transition with different terms. The $50K label is not $50,000 of cash you can withdraw.

The $50K evaluation rules

EOD means end-of-day: the loss floor adjusts from session-closing highs. It does not mean you can ignore the current loss floor during trading. The table compares standard Pro, not its one-day option.

A large day can raise the profit needed to pass

For a $1,800 best day, a 50% ceiling requires at least $3,600 total net profit: $1,800 ÷ 0.50. Rapid EOD’s 30% ceiling requires $6,000. BoxcarFlex’s 52% ceiling requires $3,461.54 after rounding up to cents. Each exceeds the $3,000 base target.

MyFundedFutures says exceeding evaluation consistency does not itself breach the account; more profit across additional days can bring the percentage into range. Builder has no evaluation consistency requirement, but its simulated-funded payout cycles do.

What changes after passing

Rapid Intraday’s simulated-funded loss floor follows the intraday equity high-water mark, including open profit. Rapid EOD’s floor follows new closing highs. Both $50K versions use a $2,000 distance and lock the floor at +$100 on their zero-based simulated-funded balance.

Builder keeps its selected $2,000 or $1,500 EOD allowance and a $1,000 daily-loss soft pause. Rapid and Pro list no daily loss limit. BoxcarFlex keeps EOD drawdown; its optional $1,200 DLL choice applies in both stages and cannot be changed after purchase. Flex starts funded at 2 minis / 20 micros and scales with account profit.

News permissions also change by plan and stage. Rapid and Pro allow Tier 1 news in evaluation but prohibit it in simulated-funded accounts. Builder’s plan guide permits news trading in both.

Payout frequency is only one condition

These are simulated-funded request conditions, not promised delivery times. Gross request amounts and the trader’s share are different.

Same $3,600 profit, different first requests

Assume no prior payout or other gains or losses, all amounts net of trading fees, all timing and qualifying-day conditions met, and a best day no greater than $1,800.

On Builder’s $2,000-loss option, $3,600 minus the $2,100 buffer leaves a $1,500 request, below its $2,000 cap. At 80%, the trader receives $1,200. The 50% consistency condition is met under the stated best-day assumption.

On BoxcarFlex, 50% of $3,600 allows a $1,800 request, below its $2,000 cap. At 90%, the trader receives $1,620. Flex still needs five separate $150 qualifying days. The larger calculated request does not establish that either program is easier to qualify for.

Two MyFundedFutures details need plan-specific confirmation

The general payout overview says Pro may withdraw up to 60% of profit before fully clearing its buffer. The redesigned Pro guide instead says the buffer must be cleared. Confirm which rule applies to the exact Pro product before relying on an early withdrawal.

The same overview says Builder has no daily loss limit, while its current $50K plan guide specifies a $1,000 soft pause. This comparison uses the plan-specific $1,000 figure. Do not apply the overview’s general statement to that account.

Compare the checkout configuration and billing basis

MyFundedFutures moved new purchases to one-time payments on August 25, 2026. Existing subscribers retain their legacy billing cycles and terms. Its Builder guide lists $153 for the $2,000-loss option and $125 for the tighter $1,500 option before promotions; a lower price here also buys less loss room. The compared plans list no activation fee.

Boxcar evaluations are also one-time purchases without automatic renewal or an Eval-to-funded activation fee. Choosing the DLL option lowers the price. Compare the final discounted total for the exact options, then record reset, platform, exchange-data and connection charges separately.

Boxcar uses Rithmic. For MyFundedFutures, check the selected plan’s current platform choices and official connection guide before buying a software license; a platform brand name alone does not establish that your existing license or connection works.

Live transition changes what happens to remaining profit

Rapid’s live policy identifies a $10,000 single-day net-profit trigger, with profit above that day’s limit forfeited, or a risk-team-approved transition. Up to $5,000 of simulated profit can enter its separate Reserve program; remaining simulated profit above that allocation stays withdrawable under normal payout terms. Standard Rapid’s $50K live account uses EOD drawdown, even though its simulated-funded stage uses intraday drawdown.

BoxcarFlex becomes eligible for live-account review after five approved payouts; approval is not automatic. When it moves live, remaining simulated profits are forfeited, with any eligible final payout settled separately. Neither firm’s simulated balance should be treated as freely transferable live capital.
