Disclaimer of Liability, Refunds, and Chargeback Policy
This Disclaimer of Liability, Refunds, and Chargeback Policy explains when Boxcar Trading Group LLC ("Boxcar") will consider a refund or other remedy, how we review technical incidents and payment disputes, and the limits that apply to claims involving the Services. It forms part of our Terms of Use.
Effective date: August 18, 2026
Scope and service delivery
An evaluation is a digital service. Boxcar begins providing that service when it issues the credentials, entitlement, or instructions that make the purchased evaluation available. Evaluation fees pay for access to the service and are not deposits, investments, or trading capital.
Except for the circumstances stated below or rights that cannot lawfully be waived, evaluation fees are final once access has been delivered. Opening or using an evaluation, placing a simulated order, or initiating a simulated trade confirms that the service has been used.
These evaluation-fee rules do not govern a separately offered live-capital relationship. Any live account, compensation, incident remedy, restriction, or termination is governed by the separate live-capital agreement, applicable provider terms, and applicable law.
Refund eligibility
Boxcar will correct or refund a charge when:
- you were charged more than once for the same authorized purchase;
- the amount charged differs from the amount you authorized at checkout;
- Boxcar cancels the order or cannot provide the material access you purchased within a reasonable time and no comparable replacement is accepted; or
- applicable law requires a refund.
Before any simulated order or trade is placed, Boxcar may also approve a refund for an unused evaluation in its discretion after considering the circumstances, transaction costs, fraud indicators, and whether account access or credentials have been transferred or compromised. This discretionary review is not a promise that every unused purchase will be refunded.
Non-refundable circumstances
Unless law requires otherwise, a refund is not available because:
- you changed your mind after access was delivered;
- you did not use the evaluation or did not have time to use it;
- you placed any simulated order or trade;
- you did not pass, lost the account, or breached a Program Rule;
- you disagree with a correctly applied rule, drawdown, or payout criterion that was made available before purchase;
- your device, software, internet connection, or unsupported third-party tool did not work as expected; or
- Boxcar suspended or terminated access for fraud, account sharing, payment abuse, unlawful conduct, or another material breach of the Terms.
A simulated loss, failed evaluation, or denied payout does not convert the evaluation fee into a refundable deposit. Review the Program Rules and Risk Disclosure Statementbefore purchasing.
Technical issues
Trading and evaluation services depend on devices, internet connections, market-data feeds, trading platforms, software, and other third-party systems. Delays, disconnections, rejected or duplicate messages, data errors, slippage in a simulation, maintenance, and other interruptions may occur.
An issue isolated to your connection, device, configuration, unsupported software, trade copier, automated strategy, indicator, or other third-party tool does not automatically qualify for a refund, account adjustment, or payout. You are responsible for maintaining a compatible, stable, and secure technical environment.
If a verified Boxcar or required-platform incident materially prevents access or corrupts an evaluation result, Boxcar will review reliable logs and the effect on the account. Depending on the cause, duration, impact, Program Rules, and applicable law, an appropriate remedy may be a data correction, restored account state, time extension, replacement evaluation, service credit, or refund. No particular remedy is guaranteed unless required by law.
How to request a review
Contact support@boxcartrading.com promptly after discovering a billing or access problem. Include your name, account email, order or transaction identifier, the affected evaluation, the date and time of the issue, and a concise explanation. For a technical incident, include relevant screenshots, platform messages, and logs if available.
Do not email a full card number, security code, account password, private key, or unredacted identity document. We may ask for additional information through a secure channel and may verify account ownership before reviewing the request.
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Posting time is controlled by the payment processor and financial institution. A service credit, replacement, or extension has no cash value unless Boxcar expressly states otherwise.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
We encourage you to contact Boxcar first so we can investigate and, when appropriate, correct a billing or service problem. Nothing in this policy eliminates a non-waivable right to report an unauthorized transaction or submit a legitimate payment dispute.
Knowingly making a false claim, disputing a charge you authorized after receiving and using the service, or using a chargeback to evade the Program Rules is a material breach of the Terms. Boxcar may suspend the associated accounts while a dispute is pending and may provide account, access, and transaction records to the payment provider. If a dispute is determined to be fraudulent or abusive, Boxcar may terminate access and seek recovery of the charge, processor fees, and reasonable collection costs to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boxcar and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunity, lost data, or business interruption, arising from a technical incident, a third-party service, or use of the Services, even if advised that such damage was possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, their total aggregate liability for claims arising from a particular Service will not exceed the amount you paid Boxcar for that Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including Boxcar's fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence where applicable. They do not reduce a refund or other remedy that applicable consumer law makes mandatory. Additional terms appear in the Terms of Use.
Changes to this policy
Boxcar may update this policy prospectively by posting a revised version and effective date. The version made available for a purchase will govern that purchase unless a later change is required by law or is more favorable to you.
