Take Profit Trader PRO: what becomes withdrawable

On a $50K Take Profit Trader PRO account, the first $2,000 of profit forms the buffer. While the account stays active, ordinary withdrawals come from profit above the $52,000 balance threshold. Reaching exactly $52,000 leaves no surplus above it.

TPT advertises requests from the first PRO trading day once the buffer condition is met, with no required number of profitable days or fixed payout window. This describes request eligibility, not guaranteed payment delivery. PRO is simulated-funded; it is separate from the live PRO+ stage.

The PRO withdrawal form deducts TPT's 20% share from the requested amount before transferring the remaining 80% to the TPT wallet. A later wallet withdrawal of $250 or less carries a $50 fee; TPT waives that fee above $250. PayPal may impose an additional charge.

The current PRO policy separately states that 50% of the buffer can be withdrawn after account closure.

$50K example: the same profit gives different requests

For BoxcarFlex, a $50K simulated-funded payout cycle needs five days of at least $150 net profit each and a positive net result. The gross request is limited to 50% of cycle profit, capped at $2,000, with a $500 minimum and a 90% trader share. There is no retained payout buffer.

Assume a first payout after five separate $600 net-profit days, with no other gains, losses or earlier withdrawals. Both balances are $53,000. These are hypothetical results, and the table assumes all other account rules are met. Trader shares are shown before payment-provider fees.

PRO changes the drawdown and trading rules

TPT's $50K Test has a $2,000 trailing drawdown calculated from the highest end-of-day balance. PRO instead trails the intraday peak, including unrealized gains. An open profit that disappears before the close can therefore raise PRO's loss floor even though the trade never closes at that peak. The floor stops rising at the starting balance.

BoxcarFlex keeps end-of-day drawdown after evaluation. A payout request locks its $50K floor at $50,100, which explains the different remaining loss room in the example. At both firms, touching the current loss floor can breach the account during the session; end-of-day tracking does not defer loss-limit enforcement.

TPT's PRO rules also require manually executed trades, at least one round trip on one day each calendar week, and no positions or working orders from one minute before through one minute after specified prohibited news events. Those include CPI, NFP and the FOMC announcements identified in its rules.

Compare the evaluation's consistency threshold

Both $50K evaluations have a $3,000 profit target. TPT's current Test rules require at least three trading days and a best day strictly below 50% of total net profit. BoxcarFlex permits up to 52%, including its two-percentage-point cushion.

With a $1,500 best day and $3,000 total net profit, the percentage is exactly 50%. That satisfies BoxcarFlex's consistency ceiling, but TPT needs total profit above $3,000 while the best day remains $1,500. All other passing conditions still apply.

TPT Test renewals continue after a failed attempt

TPT Tests are monthly subscriptions. Breaking a rule does not cancel billing, and buying a reset does not change the renewal date. Passing automatically cancels the Test subscription; PRO has no recurring subscription fee.

TPT lists a standard $130 PRO activation charge. Its current homepage also advertises an activation-fee waiver tied to a promotion, so confirm the applied offer at checkout instead of assuming that charge always applies.

Boxcar Eval purchases do not automatically renew, and moving from Eval to simulated-funded has no activation fee. Its Daily Loss Limit option changes the purchase price and carries into the funded stage. Platform, data and third-party connection charges may be separate.

PRO+ is a separate live-account transition

TPT Test and PRO accounts are simulated; PRO+ sends orders to the exchange through Tradovate. PRO+ offers a 90% trader share, end-of-day drawdown and no payout buffer. Promotion depends on TPT's performance review and onboarding, not a single automatic threshold.

The transition also changes existing profit access: TPT puts PRO on hold and freezes $5,000 of its profit while PRO+ is active. Profit above that amount remains withdrawable under PRO split terms. This retained amount is separate from the ordinary PRO payout buffer.

BoxcarFlex reaches live-account review after five approved payouts. Approval is separate from the count; remaining simulated profits are forfeited when the account moves live, with an eligible final payout settled separately. Other Boxcar plans have different progression and payout rules.

Match the platform to the connection

TPT lists CQG options including NinjaTrader, TradingView and Tradovate, alongside Rithmic options such as R|Trader Pro, Quantower and MotiveWave. All Boxcar account types use Rithmic. A shared platform name does not mean the same connection or account setup; use each provider's supported-platform list for the stage you intend to trade.
