Firm comparisons
Tradeify vs Boxcar Trading: Select payout rules and costs
Tradeify Select Flex uses total profit remaining above the starting balance; BoxcarFlex uses current-cycle profit. Select Daily has separate buffer rules. Boxcar Trading wrote this comparison using official terms checked October 18, 2026.
Choose the Tradeify program first
Tradeify offers Growth and Select evaluations, plus Lightning Funded for direct entry to simulated-funded trading. Evaluations do not pay out. Simulated-funded accounts can qualify for real payouts; a move to Elite Live is a separate selection.

BoxcarPrime, BoxcarFlex and BoxcarPayout begin with evaluations; BoxcarFunded starts simulated-funded. The comparison below focuses on $50K Select and BoxcarFlex. Growth, Lightning and the limited-release $300K Select have different terms.

What Select changes after the evaluation
Select's standard evaluation uses 40% consistency. A paid 50% add-on permits a larger best day and can reduce the minimum passing time from three trading days to two. After passing, choose Select Flex or Select Daily; that choice is permanent for the funded account.
End-of-day (EOD) drawdown updates the trailing floor from closing balances. The existing floor still applies during trading; EOD does not mean losses are checked only at the close.
| $50K evaluation | Tradeify Select | BoxcarFlex |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target | $3,000 for new purchases | $3,000 |
| Maximum trailing loss allowance | $2,000, EOD | $2,000, EOD |
| Best day as share of total profit | 40%; optional paid 50% add-on | 50% plus a 2-percentage-point cushion: 52% ceiling |
| Daily Loss Limit (DLL) | None | Optional $1,200 DLL, selected at purchase |

Select Flex and Daily have different payout conditions
These are simulated-funded $50K terms for accounts bought on or after September 1, 2026. Earlier Select accounts retain different caps: $3,000 for Flex and $1,000 for Daily. Neither Select funded path has a consistency test.
Both require a positive new payout cycle after the first payout. Only one request may be pending at a time; daily eligibility does not promise daily payment.
| Rule | Select Flex | Select Daily |
|---|---|---|
| When eligible | Five winning days of at least $150 each | Daily, subject to buffer and profit rules |
| Amount basis | 50% of current balance above the starting balance | Subsequent requests: up to 2× profit since the previous payout |
| Maximum gross request | $2,500 | $1,250 |
| Minimum gross request | $250 | $250 |
| Retained payout buffer | No separate buffer | $2,100 above the starting balance |
| DLL | None | $1,000 |

Retained profit can change the next Flex payout
BoxcarFlex requires five days with at least $150 net profit each for a $50K payout cycle, a net-positive cycle and a $500 minimum gross request.
Suppose each $50K simulated-funded account begins a later payout cycle at $54,000 and finishes at $56,000, with five new qualifying days. That is $2,000 of new net profit plus $4,000 retained from earlier cycles. Assume all other conditions are satisfied.
Both allocate 90% of an approved request to the trader. The account is reduced by the gross request.
| Hypothetical calculation | Select Flex | BoxcarFlex |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum gross request | min($6,000 × 50%, $2,500) = $2,500 | min($2,000 × 50%, $2,000) = $1,000 |
| Trader share before payment fees | $2,250 | $900 |
| Balance after the gross deduction | $53,500 | $55,000 |

A payout also changes your remaining loss room
For these $50K Flex accounts, the locked loss floor is $50,100. Boxcar locks it when a payout is requested; Tradeify Select Flex locks it at that request or when its EOD balance reaches $52,100, whichever comes first.
In the example, Select Flex retains $53,500 − $50,100 = $3,400 above the floor; BoxcarFlex retains $55,000 − $50,100 = $4,900. A larger withdrawal leaves less room for subsequent losses. These are hypothetical balances, not expected trading results.

Compare the purchase and the cost of another attempt
Tradeify lists the following regular $50K prices before promotions. Its current plans are one-time purchases with no activation fee.
- Boxcar Eval fees do not automatically renew, and passing does not add an activation fee. A DLL option changes the purchase price, so compare the same options at checkout.
- After a breach in a funded account earned through an evaluation, both firms require a new evaluation. Boxcar's purchased direct-funded accounts can be reset; Tradeify Lightning cannot.
- Trading commissions and separately billed software or data remain additional costs.
| Tradeify $50K plan | Purchase | Evaluation reset |
|---|---|---|
| Growth | $145 | $95 |
| Select, 40% consistency | $165 | $109 |
| Select, 50% add-on | $205 | $135 |
| Lightning Funded | $492 | No reset |
