Before you start
- Turn on the Trade Copier add-on in My Portal > Add-ons. It's $15 a month and works across every account on your Boxcar login.
- Install Rithmic Trader Pro on Windows. On a Mac, run it in a Windows virtual machine or on a Windows VPS.
- Log in with your Boxcar trading username and password, with BoxcarTrading as the System.
1. Open the Trade Copier
In the Rithmic Trader Pro launch window, click Trade Copier. It's also on the File menu.

2. Choose your leader account
The leader is the account you trade. Its orders are copied to its followers.
- Click Add Copy From.
- Choose the leader in Copy From Account.
- Click Add Copy From to confirm.

3. Add follower accounts
Followers mirror the leader. An account can be a leader or a follower, not both.
- Select the leader's row.
- Click Add Copy To.
- Select the followers. Hold Ctrl to pick several, or Shift to pick a range.
- Click Add Copy To to confirm.

4. Size each follower
Each follower row has its own sizing. Start with these values and test with one contract.

5. Turn copying on
Switch Copy Status from Disabled to Enabled on the leader and on each follower. Then place a one-contract test order on the leader and check that every follower fills.

How copying works
- Copying runs on Rithmic's servers and keeps going if your trading screen disconnects.
- Orders placed or changed on the leader are copied to its followers.
- Several leaders can copy into the same follower.
- It copies only between accounts on your own Boxcar login.
Keep every account within its rules
- Each follower keeps its own drawdown, Daily Loss Limit and contract limits. A copied order larger than a follower's limit is rejected.
- Close positions and cancel orders on the leader first, so a follower isn't left with an opposite position.
- Don't run a second copier on the same accounts, or orders will be duplicated.
Pause or stop copying
- Disable All pauses every copy at once.
- Set one row's Copy Status to Disabled to pause that account, or select it and click Remove.
- Cancel the add-on in My Portal > Add-ons to stop at the end of the month you paid for.
Troubleshooting

| Copying won't turn on | Your add-on may still be turning on. My Portal > Add-ons shows when it's on. |
| A follower didn't copy an order | Check that the leader and that follower both show Enabled, and that the follower isn't locked by a risk rule. |
| A copied order was rejected | The copied size is above the follower's contract limit. Lower its Quantity Multiplier. |
| A follower got 0 contracts | Its multiplier rounded the size down to zero. Raise the multiplier or use Round Up. |
