The BoxcarPayout funded exception
In a BoxcarPayout simulated-funded account, you must be flat from one minute before through one minute after a high-impact USD news event. Both conditions must apply: the event is marked high impact and its currency is USD.
Do not open or hold a position during that window. A violation is a hard breach of the funded account. Cancel pending entry orders and pause strategies or copiers that could open a position during the window.
For an event scheduled at 8:30 AM, stay flat throughout 8:29–8:31 AM in the same time zone as the event time.
Other plans and evaluations
News trading is allowed in BoxcarPrime, BoxcarScale, and BoxcarFunded, and during the BoxcarPayout evaluation. The BoxcarPayout news window above applies only after moving into its simulated-funded stage.
Normal drawdown, Daily Loss Limit, position-size, and conduct rules still apply. Slippage or a rapid market move does not remove responsibility for those limits.
Check the calendar before the session
Use an economic calendar to check high-impact USD events, and confirm the displayed date and time zone. A calendar’s time zone may differ from your platform or local clock.
Forex Factory provides impact and currency filters. The Federal Reserve and Bureau of Labor Statistics publish their own release schedules. Recheck timings before trading; schedules can change.
