Meet the target and the trading rules

To pass a BoxcarPrime, BoxcarFlex or BoxcarPayout evaluation, reach your account's net profit target, meet consistency where it applies, and stay within the loss and trading rules. Reaching the target alone does not confirm a funded account.

Three brass checkpoints representing the profit target, consistency and account-status checks for an evaluation.

Check consistency and trading days

Prime has no Eval consistency requirement or minimum-day requirement; a one-trading-day pass is possible. Flex and Payout let you choose 40% (default) or 50% at purchase. The 40% option has no cushion; the 50% option has a 2-percentage-point cushion. The largest profitable day's net profit may be up to 40% or 52% of total Eval net profit, respectively, including commissions and losing days. The purchased choice stays fixed for that Eval.

A single profitable trading day represents at least 100% of positive total net profit, so it cannot meet either the 40% or 52% ceiling. Placing more trades on the same trading day does not create another day. Flex's five qualifying profit days apply to simulated-funded payout cycles, not to passing its Eval.

There is no Eval completion deadline. The separate 30-day inactivity rule still applies.

$50K completion examples

These hypothetical Flex or Payout Eval results use the 50% option (52% ceiling) and closed net profit after trading costs. The $50K target is $3,000. The table checks only the profit target and consistency; all other account and trading requirements must also be satisfied.

Separate the target from consistency
Total net profitLargest profitable dayTarget and consistency result
$2,800$1,400Consistency met at 50%; target still needs $200.
$3,000$1,560Target met; consistency met at exactly 52%.
$3,000$1,600Target met; consistency exceeds 52%.
$3,076.93$1,600Target met; consistency met.

Confirm completion in My Portal

  1. Finish with no open positions or working orders, then check closed net profit and, for Flex or Payout, the actual consistency percentage. An unrealized gain in an open trade does not complete this check.
  2. Confirm that the account has no loss-limit breach or unresolved trading-rule issue. Meeting the profit figures does not undo a breach.
  3. Check the affected account's status in My Portal. If the published requirements appear satisfied but it still shows Eval, contact support with the account ID and the date and time of the relevant session.
